Designed for Street Light applications, comply with IESNA Standards: Type I - Type II - Type III - Type IV - Type V, Short or Medium light distribution depending on the LED used; comply with European ME3a requirements. The typical properties of SIO3 Silicone Lenses make them excellent for any applications in Wide Area Lighting, Outdoor and Indoor.

Excellent transparency; high optical efficiency; no birefringence; high temperature resistant and flexible at low temperatures with no effect on insulating properties; UV-resistant; no yellowing effect; easy fit to the final application; micro-crack resistant under harsh environmental conditions.

KRISTALL Lenses for COB LEDs

Not so long ago Khatod developed some of the most successful optical systems for COB LEDs , by providing  the users and designers of Lighting  with excellent reflectors able to optimize the high luminous flux delivered by the COB LED modules. However, the realization of an optimum design for solid-state lighting needs both reflectors and lenses. The right choice depends on your final application, requires an understanding of what it takes to achieve the highest in performance.

Khatod’s latest optical solutions for COB LEDs come from KRISTALL, the newest first-of-its-kind range of optics in the form of Total Internal Reflection (TIR) Lenses, realized in various dimensions up to 110,00 mm extra large diameter, able to maximize the high-intensity beams produced by the COB LEDs.

KRISTALL LENSES from Khatod are TIR Lenses available in 78.00mm, 90.00mm and 110.00mm in diameter, fit for the most popular COB LEDs.

KRISTALL LENSES are TIR Lenses realized in Optical Grade PC. The name recalls the high purity and transparency of these unique lenses, achieved thanks to the quality materials used and the special injection-moulding technology implemented by Khatod in the production process. Able to envelop the chip-on-board LEDs, optimize and  guide virtually all of the radiated light from the LED source toward the target by preserving and enhancing the brightness of the luminous flux from the COB LED while ensuring high uniformity in light distribution and providing high optical efficiency over 85%. Deliver an extensive range of beams, from Narrow to Medium and Wide angles. KRISTALL Lenses are provided with special adaptors customized for the individual models of the major HB COB LEDs.

The adaptors allow easy and immediate mounting onto the COB LED. No soldering or gluing is required. You will assemble KRISTALL onto the COB LED by a simple twist & lock system.
The concept is very simple:
a) fasten the adaptor onto the PCB with two screws;
b) Place KRISTALL onto the adaptor by inserting the pins into the housing slots; twist & lock KRISTALL by a simple rotation.
Also, the adaptors allow for the interchangeability of KRISTALL models on the same LED source.
KRISTALL Lenses are in compliance with Zhaga Standards and are fit for most applications where COB LEDs are required.
